Introduction of Traction Transformer CPEPE’s liquid-filled substation transformers are designed, built, and tested in accordance with international standards including IEC 60076, GB1094, ANSI C.57, CSA, NEMA and IEEE. The insulating liquid can be mineral oil, high flash point ester fluid and silicon oil. The product is suitable for electrified railway traction power supply system. Usually the transformer core is laminated type, and our wound type core is also possible if required by customer, Wound core traction transformer is a kind of energy-saving transformer with many outstanding advantages: Low no-load loss, low no-load current, low noise, strong anti-short circuit ability and overload capacity, the transformer is energy efficient and environmentally friendly. Product Range Voltage level: 110 kV, 220kV Voltage regulation: ±2×2.5%, ±3×2.5%, ±4×2.5% Capacity: 8000kVA~75000 kVA Technical characteristics Low no-load loss, low no-load current, low noise The Laminated core type transformer Adopt multistage step lapped joint fully-oblique structure, can reducing magnetic resistance and noise; Its cross section is inscribed polygon, high fill factor. After high temperature annealing of eliminating stress, no-load loss is greatly reduced. Strong overload capacity With oil flow guide control technology, the quantitative calculation of the oil flow, optimize the structure of oil circuit, reduce the hot-spot coefficient, to ensure that under the condition of rigorous overloading load, the winding hot-spot temperature does not exceed 140 ºC. Strong anti-short circuit ability By analyzing and calculating the worst short circuit, adopting high strength wire and effective support to strengthen the structure, adjusting the coil distribution to ensure all stress have enough margin. Self-developed winding technology can make the coils wind tightly. Low partial discharge Strictly control each part of the electric field intensity, according to the discharge requirements, coil winding and internal assembly is in the dustproof workshop to guarantee the body clean, adopts the high vacuum oil injection process, effectively control discharge of product. Important Features The core is kind of a wound core. The whole core is composed by three identical single frames. Each single frame is wound by several ladder shaped material strips continuously and orderly. The lengths of three magnetic circuits are the same and the shortest. So no-load current of three core limb is small and three phases are balanced. Saving 15% of silicon steel than flat wound core. The core is wound tightly without seams. It has the advantages of lower no-load current, smaller magnetic resistance and lower loss. It also reduces the noise level. The core is wound tightly without seams. The cross section of wound core is similar to a circle. The core frame is wound by machine. Filling factor can reach 0.95~0.97 Rectangular material strap will be cut along the line in the picture and then will be wound.
